When will I receive a mains failure alarm?

Alarms for malfunctions such as power failure alarms occur when the voltage has dropped to 26.5V (24V system) or 13.15V (12V system).

How do I get the Low battery voltage alarm? I have disconnected the batteries but I don't get an alarm?

Low battery voltage is when the system voltage drops below 24.5V in battery operation. In order for the card to alarm for low battery voltage, JU2 must be jumpered. JU2 is NOT jumpered by default.

How much load can the unit handle?

The average current consumption must not exceed 80% of the power supply's specific action. for example 0.8A out of 1A.

What batteries can I have in the device?

ECO 24 V 1A Mini can have 1.2Ah. The number of batteries (and load) determines how long the backup can provide power. Do not mix new and old batteries.

See product sheet for compatible batteries.

Can the unit be mounted in a 19" rack? The unit cannot be mounted in a 19" rack.

Battery replacement

Warning

Important things to consider:

Be careful with live battery terminals. Risk of short circuit!

Use only the correct type of batteries. See product sheet or in the manual.

Leave used batteries at municipal battery collection/environmental station or supplier.

Follow these steps to replace the batteries in the device:

Preparations:

  • Check that the device is working properly.

  • Make sure you have the right batteries. See product sheet or device manual for information on compatible batteries.

  • If possible, disconnect from the mains voltage.

Step 1: Disassembly of old batteries:

  1. Disconnect the batteries by removing the battery fuse.

  2. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery terminals. Be sure to note how the cables are assembled for proper reconnection.

  3. Loosen the cable tie over the batteries.

  4. Take out the old batteries.

Step 2: Installing new batteries:

  1. Insert the new batteries, one at a time. Make sure they are installed in the same way as the old batteries (see the manual).

  2. Connect the battery cables in the same way as they were fitted to the old batteries. Be careful and avoid short circuits. Replace the battery fuse.

  3. Switch on the mains voltage if it was switched off. The system starts up and enters operating mode (the LED on the front of the cabinet lights up green).

  4. Wait a while and then briefly switch off the mains voltage. The device should now be powered by the batteries.

Tip

Tip: If you are unsure how to change the batteries, contact a qualified technician. You can read more about batteries and battery replacement in the device's manual. If you have questions about battery replacement, contact support: support@milleteknik.se

Support and complaint handling

Our aftermarket department handles support, warranty matters and faulty purchases. Milleteknik provides support during the life of the product, but no longer than 10 years after the date of purchase. Costs for support are added after the warranty period has expired. Before a purchased product is returned to Milleteknik, it must be given a case number. Products that have been sent to Milleteknik without a case number are returned and the sender is charged a handling fee. Complaints about products purchased through a distributor are handled by the distributor. Contact support if you have any questions.

In case of suspected faulty goods, Milleteknik invoices the spare parts sent to the customer. Milleteknik investigates and determines whether the product in question falls under warranty and then credits the product when the replaced circuit board and or power supply is returned to Milleteknik. The return must be received by Milleteknik within 30 days, otherwise the complaint case will be closed and the credit invoice will therefore not be received.
