The ECO series consists of reliable and compact power supplies for use with access control systems, locking systems and smoke hacks. The battery backups of the ECO series have a built-in charge control that effectively prevents overcharging and thereby significantly extends the life of the batteries.
The battery backup can be deployed with only the batteries connected without the battery backup being connected to 230 V (cold start). This is convenient if the mains cable is not pulled or if the fitter is not a qualified electrician but still wants to be able to test the system. The battery backup is a fixed installation and should be installed by the competent installer. Mounting: ECO M mounted on wall. Installation and Deployment: Fixed Installation. The unit can be tested on battery power, (before 230 V is connected). Battery types: Lead acid, AGM batteries. Optional card slot: Two slots for optional L-module cards. Sabotage connector: Available as an option. Typical uses:
- Passes
- Locking system
- Smoke hatches
*Controlled charging means that the batteries are charged at a lower charge voltage to reduce battery wear. This means that batteries are charged full (100%) more slowly. A 12 V, 7.2 battery will be fully charged at most with 30% of 1.2 Ah = 2.16 Ah. If you need a controlled upload time, this is available in our EN54 series. Expected downtime:
